Senior Citizen

The "Proposal for the Establishment of Senior Citizen Residential Care Home" by the Dohnavur Fellowship embarks to address India's aging population challenges and aims to serve about 50 senior citizens in its initial phase.

 

We recognize the increasing elderly population and their specific needs. The proposal emphasizes providing high-quality care services, a safe environment, and healthcare management at affordable costs. It will include activities like assisted living, nutritional support, social and recreational activities, and personalized care plans. The project tries to optimize the vast tranquil, spiritual, nature-friendly spaces & resources and the already available healthcare facilities on the campus.

 

The distinctive highlight of the project will be the integration of eco-friendly practices, renewable energy sources, and a pollution-free environment. The donors and well-wishers of the Dohnavur Fellowship will be primary partners and the revenue generated by the project will be utilised for our charitable activities. This initiative seeks to offer a fulfilling retirement lifestyle while prioritizing sustainability and holistic care.
